Limited Trim
If you're looking for a newer Grand Cherokee with low mileage, 4X4, upscale Limited equipment and a substantial amount of fresh mechanical work already completed, this 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited deserves a close look.
It has only 65,757 miles, and CARFAX identifies it as a one-owner personal lease vehicle.
Before offering it for sale, we put this Jeep through Ridgeline Automotive and invested an impressive $3,079.06 in inspection, maintenance and reconditioning.
This Grand Cherokee uses Jeep's 3.6L Pentastar V6 producing 295 horsepower, paired with four-wheel drive.
The Limited trim gives you the more upscale side of the Grand Cherokee while still retaining the capability that makes these SUVs so popular in Colorado.
At only about 66K miles, this is considerably lower mileage than many Grand Cherokees in this price range.
This is where this Jeep really stands out.
We don't simply buy vehicles, detail them and put them online.
Our inspection uncovered several items that needed attention, and we addressed them before sale.
Recent Ridgeline work includes:
Our inspection found serious inner-edge wear on both front tires—the inspection sheet actually notes the inner tread worn to the cord. The rear tires still measured approximately 7/32".
Rather than replace only the two worn fronts and leave a mismatched set on a 4X4, we installed four brand-new Advanta P265/60R18 tires, mounted and balanced all four, and followed that with a four-wheel alignment.
That's over $750 in tire and alignment work alone.
Our undercarriage inspection found the driver-side rear shock leaking.
We didn't replace just the failed side.
We installed two new KYB rear shock absorbers, so both sides are fresh.
During road testing, we initially felt something that could have been mistaken for a slight misfire.
Rather than guessing, we investigated it.
The spark plugs looked good, but our inspection found the driver-side engine mount had blown out its fluid and the passenger-side mount had excessive play.
We replaced both engine mounts.
This repair, along with the new accessory-drive belt tensioner, accounts for another $772.49 in current reconditioning.
The shop report even includes photos of the inspected spark plugs on pages 10–11, supporting our decision not to replace parts that didn't need replacement.
That's how we want our inspection process to work: diagnose the actual problem and fix what the vehicle needs.
Our inspection also found several smaller issues that we didn't leave for the next owner.
The master driver's window switch needed replacement, so we installed a new master window switch.
A blind-spot warning concern led us to identify an issue with the driver's-side mirror, so that mirror was replaced as well.
We also replaced the battery hold-down equipment and battery cover and performed a battery terminal sensor wiring repair.
Before sale, the 3.6L V6 received our upgraded oil service using:
0W-20 Full Synthetic Motor Oil
New NAPA Oil Filter
BG EPR Engine Performance Restoration
BG MOA Advanced Formula
We also replaced both the engine air filter and cabin air filter.
CARFAX identifies this as a one-owner vehicle with only 65,757 miles. The original owner leased it in New York beginning in 2020 and averaged approximately 12,390 miles per year.
The history also shows:
We believe in being straightforward about vehicle history.
CARFAX reports one minor damage event from December 2021 involving the front of the vehicle.
CARFAX classifies it as minor damage, which it describes as generally cosmetic, such as dents or scratches.
CARFAX also reports no airbag deployment, no indication of odometer rollback and no open recalls.
We're happy to show you the full CARFAX.
