The original-style 12-volt battery dated back to 2017 and tested at only 244 CCA against a 355 CCA rating.

On a hybrid, the 12-volt battery is an important part of vehicle operation, so we didn't leave an aging weak battery in place.

We replaced it with a new Toyota battery before sale.

ALUMINUM OIL-FILTER CAP UPGRADE

Our inspection also identified the factory-style plastic oil-filter housing cap as something worth addressing.

The plastic versions can become brittle and crack with age, so we proactively upgraded this RAV4 to an aluminum oil-filter cap.

It's a small detail, but it's exactly the type of preventative work we prefer to handle before a vehicle leaves Ridgeline.

GOOD TIRES & BRAKES

All four tires measured approximately 7/32" tread depth during our current inspection.

Combined with the 10mm front and 8mm rear brake measurements, this RAV4 isn't coming to market immediately needing tires or brake work.
