If you're looking for one of the nicest configurations Subaru offered in this generation of Outback, this is it.
This 2017 Subaru Outback 2.5i Touring combines Subaru's excellent all-weather capability with the upscale equipment that made the Touring the top trim. Finished in Wilderness Green Metallic over Java Brown leather, it has one of the best color combinations Subaru offered and only 59,514 miles.
The CARFAX confirms this is a 2.5i Touring AWD, with only two previous owners and a long history of unusually low annual mileage.
For 2017, the Touring sat at the top of the Outback lineup.
This wasn't just an appearance package. Subaru used the Touring to give Outback buyers many of the comfort, luxury and driver-assistance features normally associated with much more expensive SUVs.
And the combination of Wilderness Green Metallic and Java Brown leather is especially attractive.
This one is loaded with the kind of equipment people specifically look for in a Touring, including features such as:
In other words, this is about as far from a basic Outback as you can get.
The mileage is one of the biggest reasons this Outback stands out.
CARFAX shows the original owner averaged only 3,763 miles per year, while the second owner averaged approximately 8,141 miles per year—both dramatically below the traditional 15,000-mile-per-year benchmark.
For a 2017 Subaru in 2026, 59,514 miles is exceptionally low.
That's particularly attractive for someone who wants a well-equipped Outback but doesn't want to spend late-model Outback money.
CARFAX reports just two previous owners, both personal users.
The first owner purchased the car new in 2017 and kept it for approximately 4 years and 3 months.
The second owner purchased it in 2021 and kept it for approximately 4 years and 10 months.
That's a much more appealing ownership history than a used vehicle that has changed hands every year or two.
This Outback started its life right here in Colorado.
CARFAX shows it was originally titled in Steamboat Springs, where the first owner kept it for several years.
The second owner later spent time in New York before bringing the vehicle back to Colorado in 2026.
For a Wilderness Green Outback Touring, that Colorado history feels pretty appropriate.
CARFAX shows a documented history of inspections and maintenance, including:
The first owner had the vehicle serviced through Cook Chevrolet in Craig, Colorado, including documented oil services and maintenance inspections.
In 2021, the battery and charging system were checked and the battery was replaced, along with another oil and filter service.
During the second owner's time in New York, the Outback repeatedly passed state safety and emissions inspections at 16K, 22K, 30K, 38K and 46K miles.
We believe in putting the complete history right in the ad.
CARFAX reports two accidents, both categorized as minor damage.
The first occurred in June 2019 at only 9,540 miles. CARFAX reports a sideswipe collision involving the left front of the vehicle. The airbags did not deploy.
A second accident was reported in September 2025 and was also categorized by CARFAX as minor damage.
CARFAX explains that minor damage is generally cosmetic and typically does not compromise vehicle operation or safety.
CARFAX additionally reports:
We're happy to show you the full CARFAX and discuss the history in person.
There's a reason Outbacks are everywhere in Colorado.
They give you a combination that's difficult to duplicate:
Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive
Excellent ground clearance
Car-like ride and handling
Large cargo area
Comfortable seating for five
Excellent outward visibility
Strong winter capability
Great mountain-road manners
But the Touring takes all of that and adds an interior that feels much more upscale than the typical Outback.
The Java Brown leather in particular transforms the cabin. Paired with Wilderness Green Metallic, this is one of those Subarus that actually looks special rather than simply practical.
This Outback uses Subaru's naturally aspirated 2.5-liter Boxer four-cylinder and Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. CARFAX confirms the 2.5L engine and AWD configuration.
The 2.5i is a good fit for someone who values fuel economy and simplicity over the added fuel consumption of the six-cylinder Outback.
It also uses a timing chain rather than a traditional timing belt, eliminating the scheduled timing-belt replacement associated with many older Subarus.
CARFAX already shows this Outback was reconditioned in July 2026.
Before we put the Ridgeline name behind a vehicle, we also want to know what we're selling.
Our process isn't simply:
Buy it.
Wash it.
Photograph it.
Put it online.
Every vehicle goes through our shop for inspection and road testing so we can evaluate the engine, transmission, AWD system, brakes, suspension, tires, fluids, undercarriage, electrical systems and safety equipment.
Once the Ridgeline repair order for this Outback is finalized, we'll be able to show you exactly what we've inspected, serviced and repaired.
There are plenty of used Outbacks available.
There aren't nearly as many with this combination:
2017 Touring
Only 59,514 Miles
Wilderness Green Metallic
Java Brown Leather
Two Owners
Long-Term Ownership
Top-of-the-Line Equipment
Colorado History
That's what makes this one special.
