If you're looking for a proper Mercedes-Benz sedan without stepping into newer-car pricing, this 2015 Mercedes-Benz E 350 4MATIC is a very strong example.
The W212-generation E-Class is a great combination of traditional Mercedes comfort, solid build quality, strong performance and modern technology without feeling overly complicated.
This one has only 96,739 miles, just two previous owners, long-term Colorado ownership, regular documented oil changes and 19 CARFAX service records.
Even better, the second owner kept it for approximately 8 years and 6 months, averaging only about 8,489 miles per year.
And after we purchased it, we put another $1,369.42 into Ridgeline inspection, maintenance and reconditioning before offering it for sale.
This is one of our favorite drivetrain combinations from this generation of E-Class.
Under the hood is Mercedes-Benz's naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 producing 302 horsepower, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and Mercedes-Benz 4MATIC all-wheel drive. Our shop records confirm the 276.952 3.5L V6 and 302-horsepower rating.
One of the things we particularly like about the E 350 is that Mercedes didn't need turbochargers to make it powerful.
You get a smooth, responsive V6 with more than enough power for highway merging and Colorado mountain driving, combined with the security of AWD.
It's a great combination for someone who wants a luxury sedan that can genuinely be used year-round in Colorado.
The W212 is an important generation of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
It still has that substantial, solid Mercedes feel that longtime Mercedes owners appreciate. The doors feel substantial, the cabin is quiet, the seats are designed for long-distance comfort, and the suspension strikes a great balance between handling and highway comfort.
It's the kind of car that makes a two-hour highway drive feel easy.
And with 4MATIC AWD, you don't have to park it when Colorado weather changes.
Mileage is another big reason we liked this car.
At just 96,739 miles, this E 350 hasn't even crossed 100K yet.
More importantly, the mileage is backed up by a good ownership history.
The first owner leased the vehicle and averaged approximately 9,546 miles per year.
The second owner purchased it in 2018 and kept it for approximately 8½ years, averaging only about 8,489 miles per year.
Long-term ownership like that is something we really like to see when we're considering an older European luxury vehicle for our inventory.
There's another interesting part of this Mercedes' history.
In 2017, Mercedes-Benz of Littleton offered this E 350 for sale as a Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned vehicle.
At that time, the vehicle received:
The Certified Pre-Owned coverage is obviously long expired, but it's still a nice part of the vehicle's history.
CARFAX shows 19 service-history records and specifically notes that the vehicle has a history of regular oil changes.
There are also some substantial maintenance records.
At approximately 28,267 miles, Mercedes-Benz of Littleton performed the 30,000-mile service.
At 41,408 miles, the 40,000-mile service included:
Then, at 62,689 miles, Mercedes-Benz of Littleton performed another substantial service that included:
We particularly like seeing the transmission fluid and filter service documented on a Mercedes approaching 100K miles.
The maintenance didn't stop when the vehicle got older.
In 2025, Hoover Mercedes in Parker serviced the vehicle.
At 79,616 miles, CARFAX documents:
A few months later, Hoover Mercedes checked the engine/powertrain computer and replaced another ignition coil.
Most recently, at 93,063 miles in May 2026, Hoover Mercedes again serviced the vehicle, checked the brakes and cooling system, replaced a headlight and changed the oil and filter.
It now has only 96,739 miles.
This is where our process starts.
We don't simply buy a car, make sure there aren't warning lights on the dashboard, wash it and put it online.
We brought this E 350 into Ridgeline Automotive, our full-service repair facility and NAPA Auto Care Center, and performed our complete inspection and road-test process.
Our current work order totals $1,369.42 in inspection, maintenance and reconditioning.
That work includes:
This is a good example of how our inspection process works.
The existing tires weren't all completely bald. One still measured 7/32".
But the four tires measured:
Right Front: 7/32"
Left Front: 5/32"
Left Rear: 4/32"
Right Rear: 2/32"
That's not the tire situation we want on a Mercedes-Benz 4MATIC we're putting on our lot.
So rather than replacing one tire or trying to squeeze a few more miles out of the existing set, we replaced all four.
The E 350 now has four brand-new Kenda Vezda UHP A/S2 tires, mounted and balanced.
That's a substantial immediate expense the next owner doesn't have to worry about.
Our road test also found that the front brake rotors were warped, and our inspection measured the front brake pads at only 3mm.
Again, we didn't leave that for the next owner.
We installed:
New NAPA front brake pads
Two new front brake rotors
So the next owner starts out with four new tires and new front brakes.
We also gave the 3.5L V6 more than a basic used-car-lot oil change.
Our service included:
BG EPR Engine Performance Restoration
BG MOA Advanced Formula
6.9 quarts of 5W-40 Full Synthetic European oil
New Hengst engine oil filter
We use BG EPR as part of the service before draining the old engine oil. The old oil is then drained, a quality Hengst filter is installed, and the engine is filled with fresh European-spec full synthetic oil and BG MOA.
It's more expensive than simply draining the oil and filling the engine with bulk oil.
But on a Mercedes we're putting our name behind, we'd rather do it this way.
Our inspection wasn't limited to tires, brakes and an oil change.
We checked:
We also identified an issue with the right outer tail lamp, so we're replacing the assembly rather than leaving it for the next owner.
This is what we mean when we say a vehicle is Ridgeline Reconditioned.
We believe in being upfront about vehicle history.
CARFAX reports two minor damage events.
The first occurred in June 2018 and was categorized as minor damage. CARFAX notes that it may have been hail-related and describes hail damage as generally cosmetic.
Because of that history, this E 350 may have a few small hail bumps or other minor cosmetic imperfections that can be visible in certain lighting.
We want to tell you that upfront rather than have you notice it after coming to see the car.
A second minor damage event was reported in May 2026.
We're happy to show you the complete CARFAX and let you inspect the vehicle for yourself.
This is the kind of older European luxury car we're comfortable putting on our lot.
It has only 96,739 miles, two owners, an 8½-year second owner, long-term Colorado history, previous Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned history, regular oil changes, documented transmission service and recent Mercedes specialist maintenance.
Then we put it through our own shop.
We found worn and uneven tires and replaced all four.
We found warped front rotors and worn brake pads and replaced the front brakes.
We identified the tail lamp issue and addressed it.
We performed our premium BG/European full-synthetic oil service.
And we completed our full inspection and road-test process.
That's a very different used-car buying experience than simply purchasing the least expensive E 350 you can find online.
This E 350 includes our:
FREE 3-Month / 3,000-Mile Enhanced Powertrain Warranty
FREE First Oil Change
FREE 3,000-Mile Quality Control Inspection
That 3,000-mile inspection is important to us.
After you've had time to actually live with and drive the vehicle, bring it back. We'll put it back in the shop and look it over again.
Extended warranty options are also available for customers looking for additional protection.
Ridgeline Automotive is also a NAPA Auto Care Center, so we're here to maintain and repair your Mercedes after the sale as well.
We don't simply wash vehicles and put them on the lot.
Every vehicle goes through a comprehensive inspection, receives the maintenance and repairs it needs, and is extensively road-tested before being offered for sale.
Our goal is simple:
Sell vehicles we'd be comfortable putting our own family in.
And because Ridgeline Auto Brokers operates alongside Ridgeline Automotive, our full-service automotive repair facility, our relationship doesn't have to end when you drive off the lot.
