This 2014 Honda CR-V EX-L AWD came directly from one of our Ridgeline Automotive service customers, who traded it toward a lower-mileage Subaru Outback. We weren't meeting this CR-V for the first time when it was traded in—we had already been maintaining and repairing it for the previous owner.

That gives us something you don't always get with a used vehicle: we know its recent mechanical history because much of the work was performed right here in our own shop.

It has now completed our sales preparation, including brand-new snow-rated all-season tires and new rear brakes, and is ready for sale.

GREAT HISTORY – 30 SERVICE RECORDS – 2 OWNERS

CARFAX shows 30 documented service records, only two previous owners, no accidents or damage reported, and long-term Colorado ownership.

The second owner purchased the CR-V in 2017 and kept it for approximately nine years. It was also sold as a Honda Certified Pre-Owned vehicle earlier in its life.

For a 2014 CR-V with this mileage, that's exactly the type of ownership and maintenance history we look for.

WE KNOW THIS CR-V – HERE'S SOME OF THE WORK WE'VE DONE

This is where this CR-V really separates itself from a typical trade-in.

In July 2025 at 129,594 miles, the previous owner brought it to Ridgeline and authorized a substantial $1,654.58 repair visit.

During that visit, we replaced the FRONT BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS using a NAPA brake pad and rotor kit. That front brake job alone totaled more than $600.

At the same visit we also performed a complete BG DOT 4 brake-fluid flush and replaced the engine oil-filter adapter gaskets.

We also replaced the left-front wheel bearing and repaired the rear washer sprayer.

NEW BATTERY & DIFFERENTIAL SERVICE

At 136,678 miles in December 2025, it was back in our shop for another full-synthetic oil and filter change along with tire service.

During that visit, testing showed the battery was down to 230 of 500 CCA, so rather than waiting for it to fail, we replaced the battery with a new NAPA battery. We also performed a rear differential fluid drain and refill, important maintenance on an AWD CR-V.

APRIL 2026 MAINTENANCE

At 141,135 miles in April 2026, it returned to Ridgeline again.

We performed another full-synthetic 0W-20 oil and filter service with BG MOA, rotated the tires, and replaced both the cabin air filter and engine air filter after our inspection found them dirty.

That visit also included checks of the battery, belts and hoses, engine compartment, brake fluid, undercarriage, fluid leaks, tires, brakes, exterior lights and other major inspection points.

Once the owner traded it to us, we went through the CR-V again—this time as a vehicle we were preparing to put our own name behind.
